He previously served as Associate Professor and Founding Program Director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship at Aga Khan University, Nairobi. His work centers on breast and gastrointestinal cancers, precision oncology, health systems strengthening, and oncology education. Dr. Shaikh has secured multiple international research grants, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and serves in leadership roles on global oncology committees.


Dr. Diaeddine Trad completed his residency in internal medicine in 1992 and his fellowship in hematology and oncology in 1994 at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon. He joined Tawam Hospital in 1995. Dr. Trad has a special interest in the management of head and neck cancer and other solid tumors. He has participated in many local and international clinical trials and has many publications. He has been a faculty member of many local and regional oncology conferences.


Dr. Emad Anwar Dawoud is a Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Oncology department at Tawam Hospital since 2014. He completed his MD, Ph.D. in clinical oncology at the Federation of Royal Colleagues of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2012. Dr. Dawoud graduated from Al Azhar University in Cairo in 1997 and was assigned as a lecturer of clinical oncology at the same university in 2010. He has been the principal investigator and co-investigator for more than 50 clinical trials and he published the abstracts in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Fathi Azribi graduated from Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya, then completed his specialty training in Oncology in the UK and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training in Medical Oncology. He has an extensive medical knowledge and experience in medical oncology. His main interest is in thoracic, breast, gynecological, and gastrointestinal malignancies with expertise in all types of systemic treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal, and targeted therapy. He took several positions as a consultant Medical Oncologist in the UK and UAE and had been the Chief of the Medical Oncology Division at Tawam Hospital, UAE over the past 5 years. Dr. Fathi also has a special interest in medical education and has established the first Medical Oncology Fellowship Program in the UAE


Dr. Sheikh is certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He has expertise ranging from the diagnosis, and treatment of the benign and malignant disorders of the blood cells, lymph nodes, and bone marrow such as lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloma as well as tumors of the breast, lung, colon, rectum, prostate, kidneys, urinary bladder, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, ovaries among many others. Dr. Sean Sunghun Park is a Professor and Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Mayo Clinic, specializing in stereotactic radiotherapy, immuno-oncology, and prostate cancer research. He completed his MD and PhD at Rosalind Franklin University and residency at William Beaumont Hospital. A leading investigator, he has served as PI and Co-PI on multiple NIH-funded trials exploring SBRT, dendritic cell–based immunotherapy, and translational biomarkers in prostate, hepatocellular, and cholangiocarcinoma.
