Dr. Issa Mohamad is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Associate Member at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Jordan. He completed a prestigious clinical and research fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
At KHCC, Dr. Mohamad serves as the Lead of the Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Team and the Director of the Radiation Oncology Fellowship Program, where he plays a key role in clinical leadership and medical education. He is also a member of the Radiation Oncology Board Exam Committee for the Jordanian Board of Radiation Oncology. In addition to his institutional responsibilities, Dr. Mohamad actively leads and contributes to several international, national, and institutional committees, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the field of radiation oncology both regionally and globally.
His subspecialty expertise includes Head and Neck cancers, gastrointestinal malignancies, and extracranial stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Dr. Mohamad’s research interests are aligned with his clinical focus. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and continues to make significant contributions to the academic and clinical advancement of the field.
