Dr. Tariq Mahmood is a social worker and Professor Emeritus at JPMC Karachi Pakistan.
He was instrumental in transforming JPMC from 1,100 to 2,208 bedded Hospital in a Public Private partnership between Patient's Aid Foundation & Government of Sindh.
He also introduced free treatment of Cancer with Cyberknife & Tomotherapy, the only free facility in the world. Patients from 24 countries and 73 cities of Pakistan have availed this free facility.

Dr. Jamal Khader, Consultant Radiation Oncologist at King Hussein Cancer Centre, head of the Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary and Thorax Radiaon Oncology services, and director of both the international extramural affairs office and the radiation oncology residency program.  

Dr. Khader served on the Union for International Cancer Control  board of directors from 2010-2012 and was re-elected for another two-year term in August 2012 at the World Cancer Congress 2012 in Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Asim Amjad, MD, MBBS, DMRT, DCO, FFRCSI, is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology in Ireland with extensive clinical and academic experience. He is trained in modern radiation techniques, including image-guided and precision radiotherapy, with a strong focus on evidence-based cancer care. Dr. Amjad is actively involved in teaching, mentoring trainees, and contributing to multidisciplinary oncology services. His academic interests include optimizing radiotherapy outcomes, advancing clinical research, and improving quality of care through innovation and collaboration. Issa Mohamad, MD

Dr. Issa Mohamad is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Associate Member at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Jordan. He completed a prestigious clinical and research fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
 
At KHCC, Dr. Mohamad serves as the Lead of the Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Team and the Director of the Radiation Oncology Fellowship Program, playing a central role in clinical leadership and medical education. He is also a member of the Radiation Oncology Board Exam Committee for the Jordanian Board of Radiation Oncology. In addition, Dr. Mohamad is actively involved in leading several international, national, and institutional committees, reflecting his dedication to advancing the field both regionally and globally.
 
His subspecialty expertise includes Head and Neck cancers, gastrointestinal malignancies, and extracranial stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Dr. Mohamad’s research interests are aligned with his clinical focus. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and continues to make significant contributions to the academic and clinical advancement of the field.

Dr. Jannatul Ferdause, MBBS, FCPS (Radiotherapy), is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Uttara. She is actively involved in the management of a wide range of malignancies, delivering evidence-based and patient-centered radiotherapy care. Dr. Ferdause has a strong interest in modern radiation techniques, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary oncology practice. She is committed to improving cancer outcomes through clinical excellence, continuous professional development, and compassionate care, and contributes to advancing radiation oncology services in resource-constrained healthcare settings.

Dr. Mashael Alrujaib is a healthcare leader and consultant radiologist involved in the development and governance of cancer care, cancer screening, and radiation oncology services in Saudi Arabia. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams, including radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and surgeons, to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, and evidence-based cancer care. Her contributions focus on program development, quality frameworks, and alignment with international standards and best practices. Mashael is actively engaged in regional initiatives that promote collaboration, education, cancer screening, and knowledge exchange to advance cancer care and radiation therapy services across the region.

Dr. Patrizia Porcu is an accomplished clinical oncologist with over 15 years of experience treating a wide spectrum of cancers, including breast, gastrointestinal, head and neck, prostate, brain, gynecological, skin, and thyroid malignancies. She specializes in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT-VMAT, IORT, stereotactic radiosurgery, IGRT, proton therapy, and carbon ion therapy. A graduate of La Cattolica University and La Sapienza University, Rome, she is a recognized authority in breast cancer radiotherapy. Dr. Porcu is GMC-registered in the UK, an Adjunct Associate Professor at MBRU, and an active member of ESTRO, ASTRO, RCR, and AIRO.

Dr. Ali Balbaid is a highly respected Radiation Oncologist in Saudi Arabia, known for his expertise in delivering advanced, patient-centered cancer care. With extensive clinical experience, he specializes in modern radiation therapy techniques that ensure precision, safety, and optimal treatment outcomes. Dr. Khalifa Alkaabi, FRCPC, is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Tawam Hospital and Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at UAE University. He completed fellowships in stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic radiotherapy, establishing his expertise in precision and advanced radiotherapy techniques. As a Founding Member and General Secretary of the Emirates Oncology and Radiotherapy Association (EORA), Dr. Alkaabi leads national efforts to strengthen clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and oncology education. His career is defined by innovation, evidence-based practice, and a deep commitment to advancing patient-centered cancer care. He continues to shape the future of radiotherapy across the region.

Mr. Dejan Trifunovic is a Radiation Safety Specialist at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He specializes in radiation protection, nuclear safety, and environmental risk management, contributing to regulatory compliance and public safety. With extensive experience in the energy, transport, and environmental sectors, he previously served in the Serbian government and the Danube Commission. Mr. Trifunovic actively participates in international forums, including ICRP Radiation Protection Week, promoting best practices in radiation safety. His expertise bridges technical, regulatory, and environmental domains, supporting safe nuclear operations and advancing global standards in radiation protection.

Dr. Hussein Alkushi is the Head of the Radiation Oncology Department at Princess Norah Oncology Center, King Abdulaziz Medical City–Jeddah, under the National Guard Health Affairs. He oversees the clinical, operational, and strategic delivery of comprehensive radiation oncology services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Dr. Alkushi leads a multidisciplinary team and champions the use of advanced technologies including VMAT/RapidArc, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, and brachytherapy. He is actively involved in strategic planning, quality assurance, staff development, and technology adoption. A dedicated clinician and leader, he is committed to advancing cancer care, innovation, and professional mentorship in the region.

Dr. M. Saiful Huq is Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Director of Medical Physics at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, USA. An American Board of Radiology-certified physicist, he has authored over 187 publications and delivered 242+ invited talks globally. A Fellow of AAPM and IOP, he has held numerous leadership roles, including AAPM President. Dr. Huq is dedicated to advancing cancer care and reducing global health disparities, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the William D. Coolidge Gold Medal and the U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Gold Medal.

Dr. Nadeem Pervez is a radiation oncologist trained in Ireland and Canada, with extensive experience across Ireland, Canada, and the Middle East. He served as Radiation Oncologist at Cross Cancer Institute and Associate Professor at the University of Alberta, specializing in breast and prostate cancers. A pioneer in prostate brachytherapy in the Middle East, he co-chaired Alberta’s breast cancer group and contributed to provincial treatment guidelines. Dr. Pervez is an acclaimed educator, research leader, and speaker, securing competitive grants and guiding international fellows. He has published widely, participated in multi-institutional studies, and contributed to ethics, research, and academic committees globally.

Dr. Hamda Salem Al Neyadi is the Group Marketing and Communications Director at SEHA – Abu Dhabi Health Services Company. A seasoned marketing and communications professional, she has led corporate marketing, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and digital strategy initiatives, significantly enhancing SEHA’s brand presence. Dr. Al Neyadi is skilled in designing integrated campaigns that engage diverse audiences and drive measurable impact. Her leadership, strategic insight, and dedication to effective communication continue to strengthen patient experiences and promote a healthier community across the UAE.

Dr. A. F. M. Kamal Uddin completed his MBBS in 1990 and DTCD in 1996, and in 2008 became the country’s first MD in Radiation Oncology. He served at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital from 1993–2010, followed by IAEA and UICC (ICRETT) fellowships at UPMC, USA, and the National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He is currently Associate Professor (CC) at NIENT, Dhaka, and a visiting consultant at multiple tertiary hospitals. A leader in regional oncology bodies, his interests include lung, urological, gynecological, and breast cancers, with expertise in precision radiotherapy and SBRT.

Dr. Nasser Alrajhi is a Consultant in Head & Neck Radiation Oncology at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC), Riyadh. He earned his MBBS from King Saud University and completed specialized training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Alberta, Canada, holding FRCPC certification. With a focus on head and neck cancers, he is highly rated by patients for his clinical expertise, communication, and compassionate care. Previously, he served as Medical Director of the Oncology Data Unit, contributing to oncology quality improvement and data-driven practices. Dr. Alrajhi is committed to advancing patient-centered cancer care and outcomes.

Dr. Altaf Hossain (Riad) is a Radiation Oncologist and Cancer Specialist in Khulna, holding MBBS, BCS (Health), and MD in Radiation Oncology. He serves as Medical Officer at Khulna Medical College & Hospital and provides patient care at Citizen Lab Doctor & Diagnostic. With expertise in radiation therapy, Dr. Riad is committed to delivering precise, patient-centered cancer treatment. Dr. Nandan M. Shanbhag is a Radiation Oncologist with global expertise, trained at MS Ramaiah Medical College and Madras Medical College, India. He has advanced training in Radiation Oncology (Netherlands), Palliative Care (South Africa & UK), and an MBA (USA). Currently a physician at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi, he has practiced across India, Botswana, Bahrain, Antigua & Barbuda, and the UAE. Dr. N.T. Hossain is a Radiation Oncologist with an MBBS from RU, an MD in Radiation Oncology, and ESMO qualification in Medical Oncology. She currently serves as Junior Consultant at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Bangladesh. She trained at NICRH and has completed multiple national and international oncology courses and preceptorships. Dr. Hossain specializes in breast, rectal, and spinal cancers, contributing extensively to research with publications and presentations at ESTRO, ESMO, and other international conferences. She is a member of BSRO, BSBCS, ESMO, ESTRO, and ASCO, dedicated to advancing cancer care, education, and research in Bangladesh.

Dr. Sehrish Abrar is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at SIUT, Karachi, Pakistan, and a graduate of Aga Khan University. She has specialized expertise in brachytherapy, with a strong focus on gynecological and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Abrar is actively involved in delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care and contributes to multidisciplinary oncology services. Her clinical interests include advanced radiotherapy techniques, optimizing brachytherapy outcomes, and improving access to effective cancer treatment in resource-limited settings. She is also engaged in teaching and mentoring trainees, supporting the development of future oncology professionals.

Dr. Muneeb graduated with an MBBS from Dow Medical College in 2012 and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Aga Khan University. He earned his FCPS in Radiation Oncology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2018. He has pursued site-specific fellowships in genitourinary (GU), neuro-oncology, and thoracic malignancies, with advanced training in stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and Radiosurgery SRS at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Currently serving as a Consultant at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Dr. Muneeb’s clinical interests include central nervous system (CNS) tumors, pediatric oncology, genitourinary cancers, and precision radiotherapy techniques such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and SBRT.

Agha Hammad Khan, is a consultant radiation oncologist at Ziauddin Hospital and a prominent leader in oncology education and collaboration in Pakistan. He is the founder of the Tumor Board Establishment Forum (TEFF) and the Genitourinary Virtual Oncology Network (GVON), initiatives focused on strengthening multidisciplinary cancer care and virtual knowledge exchange. Dr. Khan is an alumnus of Aga Khan University and completed advanced fellowship training in Canada with a focus on genitourinary and central nervous system malignancies. His work emphasizes capacity building, mentorship, and improving evidence-based cancer care in resource-limited settings

Dr. Maria Tariq, is a radiation oncologist at Aga Khan University, specializing in advancing cancer care and education in Pakistan. She is the founder of CYPRO (Club for Young Pakistani Radiation Oncologists), a platform dedicated to mentoring and developing early-career radiation oncologists, and co-founder of the Genitourinary Virtual Oncology Network (GVON), promoting collaborative learning and knowledge sharing in genitourinary oncology. Dr. Tariq is committed to fostering multidisciplinary approaches, capacity building, and innovative educational initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Her work combines clinical excellence with leadership in professional development and national oncology networking.

Dr. Laraib Khan is an aspiring Radiation Oncologist and a graduating physician from Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH). Her academic excellence includes being an esteemed ESTRO AGORA Alumni. Dr. Khan has cultivated a specialized interest in Interventional Radiation Oncology and is a committed mentor in the ASCO Virtual Mentorship Program (VMP). Dr. Wajeeha Anjum is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Inmol Cancer Hospital, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various cancers. With extensive experience in patient care, she is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, personalized oncology treatments, combining the latest advances in chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapies. Dr. Anjum is actively involved in clinical research, contributing to advancements in cancer management and improving patient outcomes. Known for her compassionate approach and multidisciplinary collaboration, she works closely with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Dr. Nadeem Abbasi is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist with an MBBS from Dow Medical College (1988) and an FFR from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (1996). He has been recognized for his exceptional service and leadership through multiple awards, including the JCIA Appreciation Award (2018), Best Service Award from the Pakistan Cancer Patients Welfare Society (2016), and the Distinguished Service Award from the Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology (2014). His contributions to education and institutional development earned him the AKU Faculty Development Award (2007) and the Rec Dean’s Fund (2008–2010). He also represented Pakistan in IAEA-funded international projects in Bangladesh (2013, 2014).

Dr. Abdulaziz Alghamdi is a board-certified radiation oncologist with specialized expertise in pediatric and adult proton therapy. He practices at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh, delivering advanced, patient-centered cancer care. He earned his medical degree with Second Degree Honors from King Saud University and completed radiation oncology residency at Queen’s University, Canada. He later pursued a prestigious pediatric and adult proton therapy fellowship at the University of Florida, USA. Dr. Alghamdi is actively involved in medical education, research, and national quality initiatives, with a strong focus on integrating cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practice to advance oncology care.

Dr. Khadiga Elfadil Ahmed Mohammed is a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Center and University Medical City, and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago. With over 11 years of international experience across Oman, New Zealand, the UAE, South Africa, and Sudan, she specializes in breast, gynecologic, lymphoma, and rare tumors, with expertise in IGABT, IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, stereotactic radiotherapy, and complex interstitial brachytherapy. She holds an MBBS, an MMed in Radiation Oncology from the University of Cape Town, and the FCRadOnc-SA fellowship. Actively involved in research, education, and global oncology initiatives, she contributes to IAEA/RANZCR and multiple oncology societies.

Ms. Iqbal Alamri is a Senior Medical Physicist and certified Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) from Oman, primarily affiliated with the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre (SQCCCRC). She is also a recognized regional faculty member and an active researcher in the field of radiation oncology and patient safety.

Shagufta Tasneem is a Specialist in Radiation Therapy with 17 years of dedicated experience in the field. Holding an MBA in Human Resources, she brings a strong blend of clinical, educational, and administrative expertise. Her professional strengths include mentoring, teaching, research, quality assurance, auditing, and multidisciplinary team coordination. She has played a key role in sta ff and student recruitment, policy and procedure development, and the establishment of KPIs to support service excellence. Ms. Shagufta is recognised for her leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to advancing radiotherapy services while fostering a supportive and highperforming clinical environment.

Dr. Wil Ngwa joined ARPA-H in July 2024 from Johns Hopkins Medicine. He was the founding director of the Global Health Catalyst, and co-founder of the Global Oncology University. His award-winning career as a professor in global health and oncology has focused on smart radiotherapy and immunotherapy treatments and innovations for low-cost technologies and approaches to make health care more affordable. Ngwa has served as chair and on the editorial board of multiple scientific journals, and as advisor for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
He completed his doctoral work in physics at the University of Leipzig in Germany and postdoctoral and clinical training in radiation oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School, blending expertise in medical physics, imaging, nanomedicine, and global health.

Dr. Faheem is a Radiation Oncologist at NORI Hospital, Islamabad, and an active collaborator with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He served as President of FARO (Federation of Asian Radiation Oncology). With extensive experience in modern radiation oncology, he is deeply involved in radiotherapy quality assurance, safety, and capacity-building initiatives across the region. His professional interests include technology-driven cancer care, workforce development, and strengthening radiotherapy services in low- and middle-income countries through international collaboration and policy leadership.

Dr Sundus Yahya
MBBS, MRCP(UK), FRCR,MSc Trained in clinical oncology within West Midlands, obtaining MRCP and FRCR and as well as a Masters degree in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham with 20 years in the National Health Service, UK.

She is a GMC accredited educational and clinical supervisor. She is trained to deliver systemic anti cancer therapy and advanced radiotherapy employing cyberknife/VMAT techniques and has been Radiotherapy service lead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
She is actively involved in clinical trials.

She is recipient of RCR cyclotron fellowship in Proton therapy, from University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute (2016) and RCR International Travelling Fellowship (2017-2019) to support oncology education and training in low/middle income countries where she supported SABR/VMAT techniques development.

Hedvig Hricak, MD, DrMedSci, is an emeritus member of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a global leader in radiology. She served as Chair of Radiology from 1999 to 2023 and as the Carroll and Milton Petrie Chair until her retirement in 2025. An NIH-funded investigator for decades, her research advanced evidence-based imaging, particularly MRI in gynecologic and prostate cancers. Dr. Hricak led major growth in MSK’s radiology, molecular imaging, and interventional programs. A member of the National Academy of Medicine and former RSNA president, she has received numerous international honors for leadership and global impact.

Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Sumaida is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist with extensive experience in cancer treatment and research. He has pioneered innovative radiation therapy protocols and published widely in leading medical journals. As President of the Emirates Society of Radiation Oncology (ESRO), Dr. Bin Sumaida provides strategic leadership to advance radiation oncology practice across the UAE. His role includes guiding organizational vision, overseeing policies and professional programs, and representing ESRO at regional and international oncology forums. Through clinical excellence, research, and advocacy, he continues to contribute significantly to the development and standardization of high-quality cancer care in the Emirates and the wider region.

Dr. Khalid Balaraj was initially trained in the United Kingdom. He has radiation oncology qualifications from - UK (FRCR (I), Ireland (FFR RCSI) and Canada (FRCPC). He has done 2 Clinical Fellowships from Canada, in Gynecology Brachytherapy and CNS Stereotactic Radiotherapy. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in Al Faisal University, Riyadh, as well as Consultant of Radiation Oncology, for 7 years, treating patients on the latest technology, including IMRT, IGRT, Tomotherapy, Rapid Arc and Cyber- Knife at King Faisal specialist Hospital, Riyadh. Dr. Balaraj has treated patients on international RTOG trials. He has been General Secretary of the Saudi Cancer Society and Oncology Advisor for the CME Oncology Program Middle East. Joined Tawam hospital as a chairman of Radiation oncology department on September 2011 Currently he is an assistant professor at UAE University and the chairman of Tawam hospital Oncology Services and the chair of oncology service line at SEHA.

Dr. Humera Mahmood, MBBS, FCPS (Clinical Oncology), FRCP (UK), is a Consultant Clinical and Radiation Oncologist and Head of the Oncology Department at the Nuclear Medicine, Oncology & Radiotherapy Institute (NORI). She serves as Director of NORI and oversees cancer care delivery and departmental administration. Dr. Mahmood is actively involved in teaching, serving as a supervisor and examiner for the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Karachi. With extensive experience in clinical and radiation oncology, she is dedicated to advancing patient care, mentoring trainees, and contributing to national oncology initiatives and education programs.

Carla Hajj, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Radiation Oncology Department of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Cancer Institute.
She is a radiation oncologist who has extensive experience in caring for people with a variety of cancers.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hajj worked at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York, US. She also lead the MSKCC proton radiation therapy program for gastrointestinal and hematologic malignancies at New York Proton Center, New York, US.
Dr. Hajj obtained her medical degree from Université Saint Joseph Beirut, Lebanon. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the American University of Beuruit, Lebanon and in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center New York, US. She gained a fellowship in Lymphoma and a research fellowship from the same institute.

Dr. Fawzi Abuhijla is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in Amman, Jordan. He holds a Master’s degree in Ion and Conventional Radiotherapy from the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, Austria, and a Master’s in Personalized Oncology from the University of Toronto. He completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Ontario, Canada. Hissa Al-Abdulla obtained her MD degree from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and is a German board–certified Radiation Oncologist with Fachkunde and Fac completed her specialty training at Heidelberg University Hospital and the Ludwig Maximilian University Hospital in Munich, followed by a dedicated fellowship in Munich with a clinical focus on stereotactic radiosurgery and re-irradiation.


She currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. In this role, she is an active core member of the Head & Neck, Neuro-Oncology, HPB, Breast, and Colorectal multidisciplinary teams. She also contributes to national oncology initiatives as a member of the National Cancer Advisory Groups, participating in the development and publication of Qatar’s national oncology guidelines.

Dr. Ibrahim Alotain is a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist with extensive training and experience in oncology. He completed his Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at the University of Toronto, followed by another Fellowship in Neuro-Oncology and Radiosurgery at Université de Montréal. Dr. Alotain also holds a French Board certification in Radiation Oncology Residency Program from Université de Tours. Prof. Yasir Bahader, MB.BS (Saudi), FRCPC (Canada), ABR (USA), is a Professor and Consultant of Radiation Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University. He completed his MB.BS in 1991, FRCPC in Radiation Oncology in 1997, and the American Board of Radiology certification in 1998. Prof. Bahader has held key administrative roles including Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs at KAU, Chairman of Radiology at KAU, Head of Radiation Oncology at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and Treasurer of the Saudi Oncology Society. His research includes 42 peer-reviewed publications and over 100 abstract presentations in radiation oncology.

Dr. Zainab Hadad is Chairperson and Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Bahrain Oncology Center, part of the Royal Medical Services in Bahrain. She leads the Radiation Oncology Department, providing advanced cancer care including precision radiotherapy and multidisciplinary treatment approaches. Dr Ikram Burney is a senior consultant in Medical Oncology at the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center, University Medical City in Muscat, Oman.
He received his training at the Hammersmith Hospital, The Aga Khan University Hospital, and Southampton University Hospitals.
His current research interests include Gynecological Cancers, Precision Oncology, Natural Products for Cancer Treatment, and Medical Education. He has more than 225 publications in peer- reviewed journals.

Dr. Asim Jamal Shaikh is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre in Muscat, Oman. Holding an MBBS, dual FCPS in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, FRCP Edinburgh, and a Master’s in Health Management from Italy , he brings over two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience across Pakistan, the Middle East, and East Africa. He previously served as Associate Professor and Founding Program Director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship at Aga Khan University, Nairobi. His work centers on breast and gastrointestinal cancers, precision oncology, health systems strengthening, and oncology education. Dr. Shaikh has secured multiple international research grants, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and serves in leadership roles on global oncology committees.

Dr. Ram received his post-doctoral medical degree DM (Oncology-Medical) from the Regional Cancer Treatment and Research Centre—Cancer Institute (WIA), based in Chennai, India. He is also certified from European Society of Medical Oncology and by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the Association of Cancer Physicians -- Medical Oncology MRCP UK.

He has 20 years' experience of training and working in a number of eminent and reputable cancer centres in India, New Zealand and the UAE. For the last 13 years in the UAE he has worked as a Medical Oncologist at large hospitals like Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), jointly operated by Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic (US) and SEHA (Government Healthcare Provider in the UAE).

MBBS, MRCP(UK), FRCR,MSc Trained in clinical oncology within West Midlands, obtaining MRCP and FRCR and as well as a Masters degree in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham with 20 years in the National Health Service, UK.

She is a GMC accredited educational and clinical supervisor. She is trained to deliver systemic anti cancer therapy and advanced radiotherapy employing cyberknife/VMAT techniques and has been Radiotherapy service lead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

She is recipient of RCR cyclotron fellowship in Proton therapy, from University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute (2016) and RCR International Travelling Fellowship (2017-2019) to support oncology education and training in low/middle income countries where she supported SABR/VMAT techniques development.

Dr. Abdulaziz Alhazmi is a Consultant Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Therapy Physics, with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, leadership, and academic teaching. He holds a PhD in Medical Physics (Cum Laude) from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, with research focused on EPID-based 3D dosimetry for IMRT/VMAT quality assurance. Dr. Alhazmi currently serves at Prince Sultan Military Medical City and is Chairman of the Saudi Medical Physics Society. His interests include advanced dosimetry, AI in radiotherapy, machine learning, and quality assurance innovation.

Dr. Amjad Hussain, MCCPM, is a Senior Therapeutic Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He holds a Ph.D. in Radiation Oncology Physics from the University of Calgary and M.Sc. degrees in Medical Physics and Physics from PIEAS and the University of Peshawar. Dr. Hussain has extensive expertise in total body irradiation, IMRT/SRS/SBRT planning, and radiotherapy dosimetry, and has supervised multiple graduate students. Dr. Ghada Aldosary is a Consultant Medical Physicist at the National Guard Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Princess Nourah University. She holds degrees from Carleton University, McGill University, and King Saud University, and completed her clinical residency at McGill University Health Centre, earning the Canadian Board of Medical Physics (CCPM) in 2016. Dr. Kamran Fathi, PhD, MPE, is a Senior Medical Physics Specialist at Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Oman. He earned his PhD in Radiation and Medical Physics and MSc in Medical Physics (Distinction) from the University of Surrey, UK, and a BSc in Physics with Medical Applications from King’s College London. With extensive experience across leading UK radiotherapy centers, including The Christie NHS FT, Cambridge University Hospitals, and Rutherford Cancer Centres, he specializes in advanced radiotherapy and proton therapy. An award-winning researcher, Dr. Fathi has contributed to accelerator-based radiotherapy, dosimetry, and medical physics education, holding multiple honors and fellowships in his field.

Dr. Saad Ibrahim O Aldelaijan is a Medical Physicist in the Biomedical Physics Department, Radiation Oncology Physics Section at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University, Canada, where he received the Leslie A. Geddes Award for Excellence, and an M.Sc. in Medical Radiation Physics. Dr. Aldelaijan has extensive experience in radiation oncology and brachytherapy, including research at Harvard Medical School. He is recognized for his contributions to MR-guided brachytherapy, medical device regulation, and quality assurance of linear accelerators, and serves on multiple international professional committees and editorial boards.

Dr. Wamied T. Abdel-Rahman is Chief and Consultant Radiation Oncology Physicist at King Fahad Specialist Hospital–Dammam, where he also heads the Radiation Oncology Physics Section and serves on the Radiation Safety Committee. He holds a PhD in Medical Physics from McGill University and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, as well as a Fellow of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine. With extensive international experience in Canada and the Middle East, his expertise spans advanced radiotherapy dosimetry, IMRT/VMAT, brachytherapy, and quality assurance. Dr. Wil Ngwa is Director of the Global Health Catalyst, a professor of Global Health and Radiation Oncology, and ICTU distinguished professor of Public Health. Sulaiman Salim Amur Al Suti is an experienced Radiation Therapy Manager at the National Oncology Center, Royal Hospital, Oman, with over 19 years of professional experience in radiation therapy and radiology. He holds a BSc in Medical Radiotherapy Technology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, along with diplomas in Radiotherapy Technology and Diagnostic Radiography.
