President, ASTF

On behalf of the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF), it is my privilege to celebrate the launch of the Asia and Middle East Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology (AMSTRO), one of our specialized networks dedicated to advancing cancer care across our regions.
The inaugural AMSTRO 2026 Global Oncology Conference, held in Dubai from February 6–8, 2026, marks a pivotal milestone in our shared mission to shape the future of oncology. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Cancer Care: Regional Voices. Global Collaboration”, this gathering brings together leading oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, nurses, policymakers, and leaders from global organizations including UICC, IAEA, ESTRO, AAPM, ESRO, EORA, PSCO, FARO, and more.
We are honored to welcome distinguished keynote speakers, including Her Royal Highness Princess Dina Mired, former President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), whose presence underscores the global significance of this event. The participation of leaders from the UAE and the international oncology community symbolizes our commitment to building lasting bridges, fostering innovation, and driving strategic cooperation through education, research, and collaboration.
As AMSTRO embarks on this journey, ASTF stands firmly in support, confident that together we will inspire progress and shape a brighter future for cancer care in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
With warm regards and best wishes for a successful conference,
President and CEO
